Here’s a quick video of some of the happenings yesterday at Day 1 of the 2007 Podcast and New Media Expo. Special guests include Anna Farmery (The Engaging Brand), Heather Gorringe (Wiggle Wigglers), Sallie Goetsch (Podcast Asylum) and Mike James (Mike Thinks News).

The team is set up at booth 315 on the floor of the Podcast & New Media Expo. Come by and get some swag or see a demo of how your Blubrry podcasts can be played on the new iPod Touch.
We’ve got buttons, stickers and some very cool show notes pads that we know podcasters will love. We’ll also be recording audio and video during the day. If you come by we might be able to get you on the Brrycast or U See Blu video podcast.
If you’re hanging later this evening we will be having a party in our suite at the Marriott. Stop by the booth to get an invite.
The first of two videos from the recent PodCamp Philadelphia event.
Just a quick shout out to some of the shows and people who I was able to meet at the PodCamp Philadelphia event. I could only stay for one day due to personal reasons but I had a blast at the P’unk Avenue party on Friday night. And again on Saturday night at the Triumph Brewing Co. Oh yeah and the event went very well too. The whole PodCamp Philadelphia team did a great job. Thank you.
In no particular order:
Eagles Fan Cast, New Tee Vee, Philly Food Guys, LD Podcast, Financial Aid Podcast, Accident Hash, Blogger and Podcaster Magazine, Red Lasso, Converge South Film Festival, For Your Imagination, Bucket Podcast, Otaku Generation, Blog Talk Radio, Mobile Diner (thanks for the t-shirt!), the Ad Lunatic, Caffination and more…
If I missed you or forgot a link accept my apologies. Feel free to pile on in the comments. It was a whirlwind night, day and night.
I’m compressing some video now and have audio of my session on podcast statistics. I’ll do my best to get out whatever is usable very soon!
That is the title of the discussion that I will be leading tomorrow at PodCamp Philadelphia. I’m not there to proselytize or sell our own stats system. I’m there to facilitate and provide knowledge from my perspective. I’m sure that other people in the room will have some great ideas, tips and solutions for podcasters looking to get a handle on their audience.
For a little insight on the ideas that I will present in the discussion please have a listen to the hour long podcast learning session from August where I discussed the topic of podcast statistics.

The RawVoice team will be at the Podcast and New Media Expo in full force, and we will be working around the clock to meet with all parties.
There are three ways to meet with us.
To Schedule an Private Appointment or Interview with our team please send an email to meetings@rawvoice.com
PodCamp Philadelphia is taking place from September 7th thru 9th. I’ll be there. If need be I’ll lead a discussion. Otherwise looking forward to seeing what is happening and meeting members of all RawVoice communities.
If you will be there let me know (marketing@rawvoice.com) via email. Perhaps we can get together on Friday night for some de-stressing, commiseration on new media and a cocktail on Blubrry.
For those of you interested in learning from or teaching to podcasters, you have another chance coming up on Wednesday, July 25th at 9PM Eastern.
I will be hosting another ‘learn to podcast’ session on TalkShoe. The subject will be, “Building Communities Around Your Podcast.” Guests are welcome to offer knoweldge, ask questions or just listen.
More details over on TalkShoe.
Summertime means its time to hit the road and press the flesh with the podcast faithful. An opportunity to do just that arose just recently when Brother Love asked me on his mini-tour of the Northeast to act as a social media roadie.
Stop 1 is in Syracuse on Saturday, July 14th 2007. We’ll be at the Mezzanotte Lounge from around 6PM on. I have a feeling that Syracuse local Eric from The Eric Hour will be there as well. Come on out and join in the fun. Get your mug featured on the video podcast.
Next stop in the road trip is Toronto, ON, CA on Saturday , July 15th. This is where things may get a little crazy. Brother Love will be playing the Live Keith And The Girl event at The Horseshoe Tavern. The KATG show starts at 9PM and Brother Love goes on at 10:30PM. I will be prowling the crowd looking for people to explain the exchange rate to me and maybe buy a beer so I don’t have to worry about making change.
If you are in either of these areas definitely come down to enjoy the entertainment and get some great content for your blogs and podcasts. We really like the spirit of Keith and The Girl and Brother Love. They’re taking the message to the streets and creating excitement wherever they go.
Look for updates here and on USeeBlu, Twitter and Flickr beginning on July 14th.
